Full range of features is available for Basic version, plus some additional capabilities are available for Free version, but it requires to pay the license fee to unlock them. RebarCAD's main competitor is AutoCAD Civil 3D. Based on the benchmark tests conducted by the "Civil Engineering Reference Manual", it appears that RebarCAD can create construction drawings faster, while Civil 3D has better output quality, but requires more time to learn.
